TWO people have been arrested including a 17-year-old male after an alleged car chase through Hallam and Endeavour Hills overnight which lasted more than half an hour.
A BMW sedan travelling up to 130 km/h was first detected by police at around 2.38am. Following a pursuit the BMW collided with a Holden Commodore on Belgrave-Hallam road near the Monash Freeway at 3.18am.
Police arrested the driver of the BMW, a 17-year-old Narre Warren male and his passenger, a 19-year-old Hallam man.
Both were taken to hospital with minor injuries and will be interviewed at a later date.
The driver and sole occupant of the Commodore was not injured.
