By LACHLAN MOORHEAD

TWO people have been arrested including a 17-year-old male after an alleged car chase through Hallam and Endeavour Hills early on Tuesday morning.
A BMW sedan travelling up to 130 km/h was first detected by police at 2.38am. The officers pursued and tried to stop the vehicle but were unsuccessful.
Following the pursuit, which lasted more than half an hour, the BMW collided with a Holden Commodore on Belgrave-Hallam road near the Monash Freeway at 3.18am.
Police arrested the driver of the BMW, a 17-year-old Narre Warren male and his passenger, a 19-year-old Hallam man.
Both were taken to hospital with minor injuries and will be interviewed at a later date.
The driver and sole occupant of the Commodore was not injured.
