HOMICIDE detectives are appealing for any more information that may help them solve the mystery surrounding the murder of a woman in Doveton last week.
The body of Rani Featherstone, a 34-year-old from the area, was discovered in Lace Street around 7am on Wednesday 2 April.
Investigators are keen to speak to anyone that may have been with Ms Featherstone in the days leading up to her death, particularly on Tuesday 1 and Wednesday 2 April.
While detectives have spoken to a number of people, the investigation remains ongoing.
Detective Senior Sergeant Stephen McIntyre said last week that Ms Featherstone appeared to have been violently assaulted with what appeared to be an “edged weapon”.
No weapon has yet been recovered.
Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
