MARAMBA Primary School will throw open its doors next Wednesday as part of education week.
Casey residents are being encouraged to head to the Narre Warren school and have a look at the wide range of educational programs taking place.
Grade two team leader Claire Boersma said the night would revolve around the theme Through the Decades.
“Our theme is one that involves participation of the students and their families with displays based around memorabilia brought from home,” Ms Boersma said.
“We hope this will promote lots of discussion and interaction.
“It is also a good opportunity to visit the school and to take in the many facets of our education program,” she said.
Ms Boersma said there would be several guest speakers who will talk about different aspects of Maramba.
“Over the last two years the school community has been involved with the Planet Savers Project, contributing towards their aim of accreditation as a sustainable school.
“This has resulted in marked reductions in energy usage and water consumption,” she said.
The event will take place on Wednesday, 9 May from 4pm to 7.30pm.
