CASEY residents have been invited to attend a community forum on Monday, 7 November to discuss policing issues.
The Victoria Police Community Partnership Forum will help forge links between police and various groups and agencies within Casey.
District Inspector John Hendrickson said the purpose of the forum was to inform residents of the current policing model and its impact in the community.
“We want to tell people about what we are doing to prevent crime and road trauma at a local level, and further promote the changes we have already made that have led to a safer environment for all.
“The purpose of the forum is to outline the current policing model and its impact on policing our local community.
“We are very keen to attract as many people as we can to this forum.
“It’s a great opportunity for us to keep residents informed and to draw on current community perceptions and expectations,” he said.
The forum commences at 7pm at Casey Council offices, Magid Drive, Narre Warren, and will conclude at 9pm.
