Woman killed in crash

A NARRE Warren woman died after a high-speed car crash in Prahran last Thursday.
Marie Chiotelis, 25, was a passenger in a yellow Lotus Elise sports car when it ploughed into a pole on Punt Road.
She died at the scene.
Police said they believe the collision happened at about 12.30am after the car was travelling at high speeds.
The driver of the vehicle, 25-year-old St Kilda resident Emre Basturk, also died at the scene.
There were no other people or vehicles involved in the collision.
Police will prepare a report for the coroner and are also appealing for any witnesses who may have seen the collision to come forward.
