Top sports screened live

By TANIA PHILLIPS

IT is going to be a busy few weeks in the world of sport and Brady’s Bar at Hampton Park Tavern.
The all new Brady’s Bar has undergone a huge refurbishment in recent months and now features more than a dozen big screen TVs and four private booth TVs – ensuring you won’t miss a minute of the next big game – which is just as well because it’s going to be a big big month.
Brady’s will feature every live AFL game throughout the season and will be offering special AFL drink deals during the telecasts.
But it’s not just the AFL that is catered for – Brady’s will also feature the last two State of Origin Rugby League games on 18 June and 9 July – and with underdogs NSW taking out the first game Queensland will be gearing up for a big comeback to try and to extend their series winning streak to nine years.
And with the domestic seasons now over, rugby fans are gearing up for a big few weeks of internationals with the All Blacks taking on England and own Ewen McKenzie-coached Wallabies playing France. This will be three tests each on 7 June, 14 June and 21 June 21. And with the Rugby World Cup in the UK now just a year away – all four teams will be looking to fire up.
And if that’s not enough, Brady’s will have the WBC World Middleweight Fight – Cotto v Martinez on 8 June and UFC 174 on 15 June between Johnson v Bagautinov.
Then of course there’s a little thing called the Soccer World Cup in Brazil from 12 June to 14 July – Brady’s will be screening selected matches live (check website for individual game details.)
As you can see, the month of June is going to be massive. All advertised sporting events will be shown live on their big screens in Brady’s Bar.
Patrons can visit www.tavern.com.au to see details of all sporting events including dates and times. It’s all happening at Brady’s Bar, Hampton Park Tavern, 71 Hallam Road, Hampton Park, phone 9799 3322.
