POLICE have seized a Narre Warren man’s car after he was caught exceeding the speed limit in Clematis on Saturday night.
Police say the man, aged in his mid 20s, was driving at 105km/ph in an 80km zone along Wellington Road at about 8.40pm.
After passing the patrol car, police say the man sped up unaware he was being followed and was clocked at 170km/ph in a 100km zone further down Wellington Road.
The man’s Holden sedan has been seized and he has been summoned to appear in court at a later date.
