Police chase stolen car

ONE man has been arrested and another is still on the loose, after a police pursuit involving a stolen car.
The car was stolen from outside a residential property in Prunus Grove, Doveton, on Sunday 17 August, and later picked up by police along Wantirna Road, Wantirna.
The car was pursued by police before being dumped near Heathmont College, after which the two offenders fled on foot.
A 25-year-old man from Warranwood was soon arrested and charged by police, but he was bailed to appear at Ringwood Magistrates’ Court in October.
The second offender had still not been found by police.
Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
