An aerobics high

By LACHLAN MOORHEAD

A PODIUM finish once again beckoned for the Fountain Gate Secondary College aerobics team this year.
The team claimed silver at the Australian National Aerobic Championships in the Gold Coast earlier this month, missing out on top spot by only 1.5 points and doing one better than last year’s bronze effort.
The Fountain Gate team consisted of six students, three of whom had never competed at Nationals and one who had not competed in competitive aerobics until this year.
There were 110 schools that competed in the championships, with more than 110 athletes competing in Fountain Gate Secondary’s section.
