Players set to star for Victoria

THE Casey Comets will have two representatives at the National Youth Championship for Girls in Coffs Harbour from 7 to 14 July.
Women’s Premier League star Alex Gummer will suit up for the Victorian under-17 squad, while Kate Leder will represent the state in the under-13 age group.
Elsie Hibbert would have given Casey a third player at the championships and was set to captain the under-13 side, but has suffered a stress fracture in her foot, ruling her out.
All Football Federation Victoria women’s competitions will take a two-week break during the national titles.
