TWO men attacked another man with garden tools in his house in an early morning raid this week.
Police said two men, of Sudanese appearance, forced their way into a house in Riverview Crescent, Eumemmerring, about 4am on Monday.
The men set upon a man inside the house, aged in his late 40s, with garden tools, police said.
Police attended and were involved in a foot pursuit with men and managed to apprehend one of them, who is now assisting police with their inquiries.
The other man has yet to be caught.
The victim was taken to Dandenong Hospital to be treated for lacerations.
