CARL Zeiss Vision brings together history, technology and innovation in one dynamic family of premium progressive lenses now available at Hampton Park Optical.
Scott Bell said the launch of a new progressive lens (ultra compact) would give wearers a whole new choice when it came to frame selection.
“Due to the very narrow depth of progression and broad reading zones, you can now use the smaller fashionable frames that traditionally were not practical for multifocal lenses,” he said.
“With freeform lens designs engineered for one person’s eyes only, (not as general one fits all) the multifocal lenses are not only made to their prescription, but also to their frame choice with personalised progressive zones.”
Scott said the difference with current-made progressive lenses was that the progression was surfaced on the back of the lens closer to the eye.
“This gives the wearer a greater smoother field of view for all visual zones whether reading, computer or driving,” he said.
These lenses are available in lighter, thinner, stronger and changing colour materials to cover just about every customer’s needs.
Hampton Park Optical Service has a special on discontinued frames running for two weeks for the end-of-financial-year clearance.
Frames are priced between $30 and $50, well below cost. All leftover stock will be sent to the Eye and Ear Hospital for the disadvantaged.
