POLICE are appealing for information to help catch two men vandalising train stations in Melbourne’s south-east.
Stations on the Pakenham line are among those that police believe the men have struck.
Police said the two men have been captured on security footage at stations along the line breaking open ticket vending machines and stealing cash.
Police said the attacks had typically occurred between 1.30am and 5.30am.
The two men are described as being aged in their early 20s, with olive complexions and often wearing balaclavas.
This week police released images of two men they believe can assist with their inquiries. Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or visit www.crimestoppers.com.au.
