Catwalk in the park

BERWICK’S stylish fashionistas were on show at Wilson Botanic Park last month.
In the shadow of Christmas, the Friends of Wilson Botanic Park Berwick held their annual fashion parade in the Rose Garden.
A group both male and female models strutted their stuff on the catwalk as they showed off their latest fashions.
Perfect weather conditions, tasty finger food, a glass of bubbly white wine and a happy group of people made for a successful evening all round.
Money raised from the event will go towards the further development of the facilities and equipment at the park.
The Friends of Wilson Botanic Park Berwick was incorporated in 1991 and currently has 250 members, with 50 of them active.
The group holds a monthly working bee on the third Saturday of every month, where morning tea and lunch is provided.
The next major event for the Friends of Wilson Botanic Park Berwick will be Paint in the Park – an art competition in co-operation with the Berwick Artists Society held early next year.
Anyone interested in joining the Friends of Wilson Botanic Park is encouraged to contact 9707 5818.
