THIS year’s Tooradin Tractor Pull and Truck Show has been dubbed as being bigger and better than ever.
Event organiser Allan Reeve said they had the “biggest crowd that’s ever been there”.
“That’s what people were telling me,” he said.
The 16-year-old event revved up Rutter Reserve in Tooradin last weekend much to the delight of hundreds of people.
“There were cars banked up on the other side of Tooradin,” Mr Reeve said.
The organiser said he would put down the huge numbers to advertising prior to the event and said “everyone knew about it”.
He said the tractors were a huge hit.
“They were a drawcard, the crowd really started to come in around 2pm,” he said.
“There were around 43 tractors and 86 trucks.
“The weather was nice to us, too, not too hot and not too cold.”
He said the entire committee worked well together as a team and the group will look forward to an event just as big next year.
