THE Berwick Boys Squadron of the Australian Air League is a vital component of many community based events held in Casey.
Cadets from the Berwick Squadron regularly assist with parades and ceremonies in support of an array of groups as part of their community awareness activities.
The squad recently helped coordinate parts of an Australian citizenship ceremony held by Holt MP Anthony Byrne.
The youngsters assisted by parading the Australian flag and escorting the various dignitaries and speakers to their seats.
The group also handing out Bibles and native plants as well as generally assisting during the function to make the ceremony a memorable occasion for all those involved.
