Places to call home

THE City of Casey council is developing a new housing strategy and is calling on the community’s ideas on how to best meet Casey’s future housing needs.
A short survey is to be completed by Friday 29 May with an iPad mini and other prizes up for grabs.
Residents are encouraged to share their stories which will serve as an important tool for the council in responding to the growing population and Casey’s changing housing needs.
City of Casey Mayor Mick Morland said the council hopes to gain a better understanding of people’s housing choices and whether residential development in Casey is meeting the community’s needs.
“The City of Casey remains one of the fastest growing regions in Australia and it is estimated that an additional 150,000 new residents will call Casey home from now until 2031,” Cr Morland said.
Residents can get involved in the housing strategy by visiting caseyconversations.com.au/housing.
