A NARRE WARREN teenager has been charged with extra offences in relation to the foiled terror plot allegedly targeting Anzac Day services in Melbourne’s south-east.
The 19-year-old, who was previously charged with four counts of possessing a prohibited weapon, was charged with 19 counts of importing prohibited ‘tier 2’ goods on Thursday.
He is expected to appear at the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court later in the day for a bail/remand application.
Two other Casey teenagers arrested in relation to the plot – 18-year-olds Harun Causevic and Sevdet Ramadan Besim – chose not to proceed with their bail applications on Thursday and have remained in custody.
Causevic and Ramandan are due to return to court for a committal mention hearing in August.
