Motorcyclist dies after crash

A HAMPTON Park driver has survived but another man has died after a motorbike crashed into a truck in West Melbourne in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
The motorcyclist is believed to have lost control of his vehicle while travelling west on Footscray Road near the CityLink off-ramp about 12.35am on 29 April.
The 23-year-old was taken to the Royal Melbourne Hospital in a critical condition, but died on Thursday.
The truck driver, a 36-year-old from Hampton Park, was uninjured in the crash.
Police are investigating the collision and have appealed for anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or submit a confidential crime report at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au.
