Scalped for a cause

THE students and staff from Berwick Fields Primary are doing their bit.
Towards the end of last month the school held two special fund-raising events for the World’s Greatest Shave initiative.
On Tuesday 21 April a crazy hair day was held in which all year levels were encouraged to raise money to then have the opportunity to cut the hair of a staff member the following week.
Seven days later, on Tuesday 28 April, a special assembly was held in which five staff members – Belinda Moore, Nicole Muir, Wayne Spilsbury, Tracy McGavigan and Donna Egglestone – all cut their hair for the special cause.
The school has so far raised $3697 on behalf of their team, the Berwick Fields Buzzed Butterflies.
