CARDINIA BEACONHILLS GOLF
A FULL field of 142 competed in Saturday’s Stroke Monthly Medal, which coincided with Crazy Pants Day – a fundraiser for the club and an opportunity for players to take those fashion faux pas out into the light of day for a round and comment.
In A Grade, Andy Conn (5) returned a notable 66 nett and the B-Grade winner was Jordan Flanagan (12) with 68 nett. The overall win along with C-Grade went to Tramayne Adams (26) with an impressive 65 nett.
On a glorious Sunday for competition Greg Hamilton (5) returned a score of +4 to take out the Beaconhills Cup, from runner-up Bob Priestley (18) with +3.
MIDWEEK
Tuesday’s A-Grade par competition was won by James Humphreys (12) with a great score of +6. The B-Grade winner was Warren Hahnel (21) with +2 on a count-back.
Wednesday competition was markedly quieter this week as over 20 ladies went on a club golf trip to Albury. The day was blessed with good weather and Kerri Greig was the winner of the stableford competition with a score of 30 points.
Roy Solomon (7) took out Thursday’s par competition against a field of 87 players. He returned the best score in A Grade with 40 points while Colin Campbell (28) returned the best score in the B Grade with 42 points.
Friday’s Stableford competition was won by Romney Whitchurch (17) with 35 points.
