POLICE are treating a fire in Doveton as arson.
An unoccupied caravan was set alight in the driveway of a Campher Court property about 2.15am last Friday.
The caravan was destroyed as well as a portion of a fence.
Police said those responsible also threw a brick through the windscreen of a red 1998 Holden sedan parked in front of the caravan.
Meanwhile, thieves stole horse riding equipment from a Narre Warren garage last week.
The burglary took place between 10am on 8 October and 11.30am the following day at The Rise property.
A black saddle and saddle blanket, valued at $874, were stolen.
