Man injured in Hallam attack

A MAN suffered minor injuries when he was assaulted and robbed in Hallam about 10.15pm on Tuesday night.
Police said the man was walking to work from the Hallam Railway Station when four men chased him to a vacant block of land.
One man produced a knife and demanded his wallet, police said.
During the robbery the victim suffered cuts to the head.
The injured man, 37, from Mentone was taken to the Dandenong Hospital for treatment.
