POLICE were forced to evacuate occupants from their Hampton Park home last week after a family member allegedly made death threats against them.
Detectives set up a cordon at the Misswyn Avenue property just after 1am on Wednesday 5 August to remove the occupants from the home when a family member threatened them and damaged property inside the house.
After negotiations with police the man, in his twenties, surrendered and was remanded in custody.
It’s believed a family violence order was initiated against the man, who has been charged with making threats to kill, and criminal damage.
