POLICE believe one thief is responsible for a string of thefts from motor vehicle crimes in the Narre Warren area over the past fortnight.
Kurrajong Drive has been the hot spot, with more than 10 cars broken into in and around the local area.
Laptops, mobile phones, cameras, wallets and radios are among the items stolen.
Police said the majority of incidents occurred after the thief smashed the car’s window.
A blue woollen Billabong jumper was left in one of the cars which was broken into, and police are keen to speak to anyone who recognises the piece of clothing.
Anyone with information about the jumper or the crimes is asked to contact Narre Warren Police on 9705 3114.
