CRANBOURNE’S turf-one bowlers halted a surging Coomoora to pull off a gutsy win on Saturday.
Coomoora batsman got off to starts and at one stage were 5/164 chasing Cranbourne’s 228.
Following up from his batting the previous weekend Shane Murdoch took three crucial wickets to be the pick of the bowlers while veteran Matthew Moore picked up two, including the wicket that won the game for Cranbourne.
Newcomer Paul Ferrari also got two wickets.

Cranbourne came out firing against North Dandenong with new firebrand Chris Brady leading the way with three wickets in the first 10 overs.
The good early work was not wasted with Cameron Kelly and spinner Andrew Toan ripping through the middle and lower order with three wickets each.
Sending North Dandenong back in it was much of the same with Cranbourne falling only two wickets short of a valuable outright.
In the second innings Chris Brady took another four wickets while Jason Toan picked up two.

Continuing on from last week Peter Kelly stuck to his task making a patient 34.
Once the overnight batsman were dismissed it became a two-man show, with the hard-hitting Mark Andolfatto (81 with fives sixes) and the stylish Lucas Ligt (74) putting on a 126-run partnership for the fourth wicket.

In St Brigid’s first inning the bowling honours were shared with Jesse Fitzgerald, Daniel Fox and Ben Redgen all getting two wickets, with good fielding pressure also causing three run-outs.
Sending St Brigid’s back in, Cranbourne made short work, with the star being newcomer Shane Krings who took five wickets, using his swing and seam to good advantage.

Cranbourne wrapped up the Lyndale tail quickly with Hayden Cains (4/45) the star performer and Keeran Braham took three wickets to provide the back-up.
Cranbourne batted and seemed intent on making a game of it with Ash Murtaugh (32), Cam Petrie (36 not out) and Hayden Cains (25) all batting well.
Having another bowl Hayden almost got the team over the line in a reverse outright, taking 5/26 to cap off an excellent individual performance.

Having already lost the game it could have been easy for he players to drop their heads, but Cranbourne fought it out, bowling Endeavour Hills out.
The pick of the bowlers was opener Andrew Ciantar, who continued his good form with three wickets, while Martin Hameeteman also took three wickets late in the inning.

Opening batsman Luke King continued his run with another good hand of 23, but the undoubted star was Brett Harrop, who looked a cut above the rest on the way to 62.

With two batsman already dismissed last week, Cranbourne was looking good, but the bowling of Cam Kelly, who finished with three wickets and especially Jess Fitzgerald (4/21) ensured the victory.
Batting for 10 overs Cranbourne smacked 81 runs, with Lucas Ligt (46 not out) and Daniel Wallis (31 not out) making the most of their batting time.

After doing the job with the ball last week, Cranbourne was looking for an easy win, but at 6/48 anything was possible.
Brad Nicol (29) and Robbie Cowan (43 not out) controlled the rest of the game with a 68-run partnership to take the team to victory.

With only 66 runs to get, Cranbourne was able to pass Fountain Gate’s score only three wickets down.
Dave Spencer batted well for 56 not out, while Cam Dinger also retired on 52.
