I recently watched The Great Australian Spelling Bee on Channel 10.
What impressed me more than the children’s spelling ability was their sportsmanship.
I don’t watch The Block or My Kitchen Rules because of the way some of the contestants act towards one another.
The children were under a lot of pressure.
Some of them were as young as eight.
Yet they were always positive and continually encouraged each other even though it was a competition.
They could teach the adults a lot.
Well done kids!
