Smash and grab burglary

NARRE Warren police are calling for witnesses to a burglary in Peel Street, Berwick, between 3am and 3.15am on 3 November.
In the burglary a pot plant was thrown through a downstairs glass window, waking the sleeping occupants of the house.
A ladies’ purse, handbag, camera and a men’s wallet was stolen along with $1600 cash.
Police describe the incident as a smash and grab and said it happened so quickly the occupants were unable to get a view of the raider.
Anybody with information should contact Senior Detective Peter Lockman on 9705 3111.
