Thieves cut hole in roof

NARRE Warren police are seeking assistance from the public after a break-in at the Subway restaurant in Park Hill Drive, Berwick.
Thieves entered the restaurant between 10pm on 31 October and 7.15am the following morning after cutting a hole in the roof and lowering themselves to the ground.
Detective Paul Stow said the thieves then attempted unsuccessfully to cut the safe open with an angle grinder.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Senior Constable Marchant on 9705 3111.
