Special events made simple

CASEY Council will present a free event-planning forum in the civic centre from 6.30pm on Monday 26 November.
Several speakers will cover topics including community grant applications, sourcing external event funding, waste management practices and how to become a waste-wise event, event compliancy and working with the council.
Casey arts and leisure manager Robyn Bowen said the aim was to simplify the process of how to host a “waste-wise” event and source event funding from the council.
“People will also meet relevant council staff as well as network with other event organisers,” Ms Bowen said.
A light supper will be provided.
