Dead body spotted by Google

INTERNET giant Google has found itself in a pickle after a Google Street View image showed what appeared to be a body lying on an Endeavour Hills nature strip.
A caller rang radio station 3AW this morning about the startling image of the body lying under a white sheet, which has since been blurred by Google.
The image is dated July this year. The person is believed to have died from natural causes.
Victoria Police confirmed the image was taken in an Endeavour Hills street.
In a statement a Google spokesperson said the company “sometimes” captures images that are “sensitive or inappropriate” and as such provides tools so they can be flagged or removed.
