By LACHLAN MOORHEAD

AN attacker on the run after stabbing a 41-year-old woman in Berwick Monday morning 14 December stole a Toyota Corolla from a nearby home and is still on the loose.
The victim was rushed to hospital after being stabbed at the Strathavan Drive home, just after 9.30am.
She was rushed to hospital with non-life-threatening facial injuries.
Police said that after the incident the man who attacked her, believed to be known to the woman, walked to a nearby Earlsfield Drive house where a man and woman were home.
He demanded the man’s car keys and then stole a green Toyota Corolla with the registration number NOJ 386.
No-one was injured at the Earlsfield house.
The attacker is described as aged in his twenties to thirties, Caucasian, and was wearing a black T-shirt and black shorts.
Police are searching for the man and anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or submit a confidential report at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au
