NARRE Warren Police are looking for witnesses to several thefts in a housing development in Sachiko Street, Narre Warren, between 4.30pm on 10 November and 8.20am on 12 November.
The property’s vacant double-storey townhouses were fitted with all kitchen appliances but with no other fixtures.
Electrical items were stolen from the property, including dishwashers, wall ovens, along with carpet.
Police believe the thief parked in garages of the premises to avoid bringing attention to him or herself.
The offender was disturbed by a gasfitter and fled the property driving either a white Ford Utility or white Toyota Hilux out of the garage and through a temporary wire fence.
During his escape the vehicle lost almost half its load – a dishwasher and two wall ovens.
Anyone with information can contact Narre Warren police on 9705 3111.
