A BERWICK man has been charged over the explosion and fire at Kittens strip club in Caulfield South on 16 February.
Echo Task Force detectives charged the 31-year-old with two counts of criminal damage by fire, one count of reckless conduct endangering life, handling stolen goods and possessing a prohibited weapon on Wednesday night.
The man faced an out-of-sessions hearing at Melbourne West police station the same night.
He was remanded in custody to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday morning.
Police said a 26-year-old Berwick woman was released without charge.
