POLICE are hoping the public can shed some light on a burglary at Berwick Subway.
Thieves entered the Parkhill Drive restaurant between 10pm on 31 October and 7.15am the following morning after cutting a hole in the roof and lowering themselves to the ground.
Senior Constable Dean Marchant said those responsible for the break in then attempted to gain access to the store’s safe by using an angle grinder.
They were unsuccessful and fled without stealing anything.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact Sen Const Marchant on 9705 3114.
