A STOLEN ute has been stripped and set on fire in Berwick.
The Holden SS ute was set alight at the intersection of Hessell Road and Whistler Drive about 3.45am on Monday 14 March.
Before it was set on fire the ute was stripped of its engine, transmission and registration plates.
Detective Senior Sergeant Rob Clark said whoever set the ute on fire would have had to transport the car using another vehicle, which would have likely made “a fair bit of noise”.
Anyone with information is urged to contact the Casey CIU on 9705 3011, or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
