The Lions and Lioness Clubs of Endeavour Hills organised the event, which had entries from Maranatha Christian School and Eumemmerring College’s Gleneagles and Endeavour Hills campuses.
Peace Around the World was the subject for 2007 and according to competition officials, both schools put forward excellent entries that made the judging panel’s task a hard one.
Maranatha Christian School student Grace Fraraccio and Eumemmerring College’s Gleneagles campus student Danial Hayman were selected as winners. Their entries will go forward into the next level of judging at district level. Nicola Harris and Abdul Qambari finished in second position.
