School goes back in time

By CAM LUCADOU-WELLS

FOUNTAIN Gate Secondary College student Aisha Popal got some handy battle tips from instructor Nick Power during a medieval education day at the college on 12 May.
Students stepped back in time to learn about the hardline crime-and-punishment regime in the Middle Ages, as well as weaponry, armoury, heraldry, fashion dances and games.
The event included tournaments on the school oval.
