CONSTRUCTION sites in the City of Casey are under attack with thieves raiding two building locations over the holiday period.
Two $800 air conditioners were stolen from portable site offices set up about 200 metres from Clyde Road in Narre Warren South.
Police said temporary fences were knocked down and the coolers were removed sometime between 17 December and 7 January.
A shipping container was also broken into on the same site with several power tools stolen.
Police are also investigating a burglary at the Prime Life Retirement Village building site in Berwick between 2.30pm on 6 January and 7am the next day.
Almost $10,000 worth of tools was stolen after padlocks were cut on the site at Kangan Drive and a shipping container was entered.
Anyone with any information about either crime is asked to contact Narre Warren Police on 9705 3114.
