Car puts trains on hold

By CAM LUCADOU-WELLS

TRAINS on the Pakenham line were delayed after a car was stuck on tracks at Narre Warren station this morning.
The four-wheel drive had burst through a car park fence, coming to rest next to one of the station’s platform about 9.45am.
Metro Trains spokeswoman Sammie Black said train services were shut down for 15 minutes while a police officer reversed the car from the tracks.
There were no reported injuries.
