GOLFERS teed off for an Endeavour Hills police charity event at Churchill Waverley Golf and Bowls Club on 11 November.
Sergeant John Blackburn of Endeavour Hills police said at least $8000 was raised from the event which has raised more than $100,000 in the past decade.
Last year’s beneficiaries were The Andrews Centre, Endeavour Hills Lions Club, Police Legacy, Windermere, Jan Juc Surf Life-Saving Club and Victoria Trust Account for Indigenous Youth.
Assistant Commissioner Bob Hill handed plaques to Melsteel and Churchill-Waverley Golf Club for 10 years’ support of the event.
