FITNESS fanatics were treated to a five-hour non-stop exercise class at the Endeavour Hills Leisure Centre recently.
The excessive sweat session was all part of the ‘Open Doors’ fundraising efforts organised by the local YMCA facility.
Group fitness specialist Nicky Brown said people who took part showed great support for the event and enthusiastically exercised in all classes.
“It was deemed a very successful day for the community,” she said.
“By the end of the fifth class there was plenty of blood, sweat and tears, but lots of fun was had by participants and instructors.”
The YMCA Open Doors Appeal aims to address the state’s ongoing lifestyle epidemic, for people most at risk of poor health.
