Canadians in the country

CANADIAN musician Corb Lund wowed the crowd during the Hallam Hotel’s first international country music performance last week.
Lund, along with his band the Hurtin’ Albertans, played his only Melbourne show at the Princes Highway hotel to the delight of many local fans.
Audience members were treated to a special set from the four-piece band and played various songs from the five albums they have released.
The Canadian group join a long list of impressive acts that have played at the Hallam over the past two years.
Aussie rockers the Screaming Jets also played at the venue last week.
Other big names set to play at the Hallam Hotel this year include Brian Cadd and Russell Morris, the Rogue Traders and Beccy Cole.
