SHOPPERS at Australia Post outlets in Fountain Gate and Hallam can now post a letter and help save water.
The two locations were recently added to South East Water’s list of showerhead exchange outlets.
South East Water’s acting chief executive Kate Vinot said there had been an overwhelming demand from residents to exchange their showerheads for a free water-efficient model.
“We’re making it even easier for our customers to exchange their old showerheads, especially for those who are unable to do so throughout the working week,” Ms Vinot said.
“We have already exchanged more than 50,000 showerheads and we aim to exchange another 32,000 by the end of June.”
Residents need to register online at www.southeastwater.com.au/showerheads and then take a completed registration form, their old showerhead and a copy of their water bill to the Australia Post outlet.
Showerheads can also be exchanged from Monday to Friday at Casey customer service centres in Narre Warren and Cranbourne.
