Bollards for Bunjil

By Cam Lucadou-Wells

Surrounding roads will be closed while security bollards are installed around Casey Council’s new civic-arts headquarters in Narre Warren.
Magid Drive will be closed during the night works at Bunjil Place on Sunday 22 October and Monday 23 October.
The works include road resurfacing and security bollards in the centre median.
Patrick Northeast Drive will also be closed for one night for resurfacing and the installation of raised pedestrian crossings and security bollards.
Part of the drive will remain closed until Monday, 30 October.
Casey mayor Sam Aziz said the “critical renewal works” were needed to create “pedestrian friendly spaces” in the precinct.
“With Bunjil Place opening in just two weeks’ time we need to make sure everyone can travel safely to and from the new entertainment precinct, and these works will assist in that.
“The works have been scheduled to occur overnight to minimise disruption to the community.”
