More than 80 golfers helped raise thousands for community projects at Narre Warren Rotary Club’s annual golf day.
A team from Brown’s Sawdust won the four-ball stableford event at Berwick Montuna Golf Club on 17 November.
Next placed were Frankston Sand and Soil, and Facey Industrial and Commercial.
Narre Warren Rotary president Mamad Amin said the club expected to yield close to $24,000 from what is its biggest annual fund-raiser.
The money will be channelled into causes such as the proposed Narre Warren Mens’ Shed, a mental health forum, a mental health first aid course and the CFA.
It would also help to support a school’s Mental Health Week event and sponsor students on Rotary youth science, leadership and exchange programs.
