Narre Warren SES is set to receive a new set of wheels, thanks to a $60,000 State Government funding grant.
The unit’s volunteers also raised $20,000 towards the vehicle – a crew-cab Ford Ranger.
Narre Warren North MP Luke Donnellan said the members did an “incredible job keeping the local community safe”.
“They deserve nothing but the best equipment.”
SES units across Victoria received $2.05 million in grants as part of the Volunteer Emergency Services Equipment Program.
