A man is in a critical condition after his car crashed into a pole in Berwick about 3.50am on 29 November.
The man aged in his thirties was trapped in his car for an hour on the corner of Clyde Road and Meadowlands Way before being freed by emergency crews.
He was treated for head, pelvis and leg injuries by paramedics during the rescue operation, an Ambulance Victoria spokesperson said.
He was flown by air ambulance helicopter to Royal Melbourne Hospital in a critical condition.
