POLICE arrested three men after a short pursuit in Hampton Park yesterday (Wednesday) morning.
Endeavour Hills police saw a car near the intersection of Princes Highway and Wedgewood Road in Hallam shortly after 1am, which appeared to have its registration plates taped over.
As police attempted to intercept the car, it continued on and headed towards Hampton Park.
Four Regional Traffic Tasking Units, which were on patrol in the area, assisted with the pursuit.
The traffic units deployed spike mats to head off the car at various locations, including in Pound Road.
The vehicle drove over one of the mats and stopped shortly after.
Three men, a 20-year-old and a 23-year-old from Thomastown, and a 20-year-old man from Epping were taken to Dandenong Police Station.
Police are continuing with their investigations and had not charged the men as of yesterday (Wednesday) morning.
